Tyler Williams is the Head of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs & Regulatory Counsel at Galaxy. Prior to joining Galaxy, Tyler owned and operated his own financial services consulting firm in Washington, D.C., advising financial services companies and corporate leadership; served a Senior Advisor at FS Vector; and was a senior policy advisor for Governor Glenn Youngkin’s campaign. Previously, Tyler spent nearly a decade in public service having served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Banking Counsel for Senator Thom Tillis (NC), Legislative Director and Counsel to Congressman Robert Hurt (VA), and Legislative Assistant for Speaker John Boehner (OH). Prior to working in government, Tyler worked for an institutional investment research firm in New York. Tyler holds a BA in Economics and minor in Biology from Kenyon College and a JD from The George Washington University School of Law.
